nope, I'm not fluent, but I know the basics and can read and write hiragana and katakana. I'm still working on kanji so I only know about half of lvl 4 still. but i've been self teaching from online sights and anime since no one teaches it where I live

i only have japanese friends to teach me a sentence or two once a week. so im definitely not fluent but i am learning. the thought that counts... Toungue

i'm a first generation American...both my parents were educated in Japan...from kindergarted to 8th grade i went to japanese school from 8am-3pm every saturday and then spoke it at home. I'm gonna be a senior next year, but i still have my fluency.

hmm... im not sure if im fluent or not..
but i can watch anime without subs..
can translate Pv song..
but when it come to speaking japanese language, its kinda hard to put all the words together.. and can do writing in hiragana, katagana and some kanji..
and i hate kanji!!! sometimes it can be confusing...
