RE: ANTIVIRUS?
Symantec is what I use. Not sure how effective it is, my windows firewall blocks most viruses.

RE: ANTIVIRUS?
I use Grisoft AVG for my computer, and it's stopped trojans a few times
I heard it was good from a few friends of mine, so I thought you might like to give it a go

hope it helps Big Grin

RE: ANTIVIRUS?
I've been hearing some good things about Nod32 about how its one of the world's best antiviruses in the world..Maybe you should take a look
I am right now using Zone Alarm Security Suite and it is bad
My rating for it would be a 2/5

hmmn, i pratically used several antivirus but i'd recommend avast (free) detected and deleted viruses, but sometimes here at work there'd be other viruses not posted elsewhere that no other antivirus can remove so there'd be no way for other's to be protected unless it's uploaded to the internet through antivirus makers. well, i'm using NOD32 and works well enough, mcafee enterprise work well but then failed to detect an infection thoroughly, it only detedted the presence of that virus when i used a remover specific for the virus that infected one of our PCs at work. Avast can do a boot scan and if it's updated will work fine. if it expires just remove the old version and install a new one. Good Luck!

BTW, what's the trojan infecting your PC?

RE: ANTIVIRUS?
i use Grisoft AVG and Avira AntiVir, and on my other computer, Nod32, dont know if they're good or not but i've been virus-free. There are some applications that are especially for Trojan Viruses.....i remember one called like...trojan remover or something like that.
