X_X I never actually read the forum rules till now...
I was reading about the bannings etc. of other former members, so I decided to read what you could get banned for
=/ I really should have read it long ago loool
But it took me a while to find this thread because I didnt think it would be in News and Announcments.
So, maybe a lot of people are double posting because they couldn't find the forum rules and so they thought they could double post?...

Hmmm, I don't know if this should go in the suggestions section, but maybe you could put a clear link/a link that stands out on the front page (http://www.ampedasia.com/forums) so that other members can have easy access to it and will be more aware of the rules?

I agree with you lu-xin!!! I think that Joanna had sent a PM to Lance about this same issue as well but I'm not sure.. But I really would want the forum rules to have it's own section where the F&Q could also be located. But then again when you look above even though this is the forum rules thread people were still violating the rules lol..

Hey but funny thing is I never looked at the rules either until I became a mod lol.. All I did was use common sense before I started to post which I wish all these other people who keep insisting they violate the rules because their new would use common sense as well..

Believe it or not, I have tried numerous times to get Lance to approve the suggestion of making a section just for Ampedasia Rules/FAQ. 4jpz has also tried countless times. Our suggestion hardly ever get approved but I found a good way to contact Lance now. I just recently talked to him through AIM of his screen name. So if my PM doesn't get through I will just instant message him through there. I might ask again regarding this issue because it really taking a toll on all the moderators, including me.

Thanks lu-xin for pointing out the same matter we have been trying to tell Lance. Now, we have proof that even members couldn't even navigate the forum rules.

Please do that Joanna, coz the newbies are really a pain... but I totally agree with Krazoom that it's just plain common sense and a lot of observation to get to know the forum rules even if you haven't read it at all... This is my first forum ever and I learned a lot from just mere browsing and observing... But definitely the location of the Forum Rules and FAQ thread should be somewhere that is easily seen EVERYTIME one access a thread or even a page, so that violators don't have an excuse... and well, it'll make the mods's lives a lot calmer... lol

Thanks lu-xin for your support and observation. It will also be best if you PM Lance. That way, Lance will see that it's not just us mods who take notice but the members as well...

I agree with that too, having a hard time looking for it too. That will also keep us reminded always.
