TERMINOLOGIES and FUNCTIONS TO KNOW:
Q: What is an administrator?
A: The administrator is the one who oversees the forums. He is responsible for the overall design and implementation of the different features of the forums. Lance is AmpedAsia’s administrator and he is also the owner.

Q: What are Moderators?
A: Moderators are responsible for maintaining the interest and/or activity on the forums. They are also responsible for moderating the threads or posts of members based on the forum rules

AmpedAsia has two types of moderators: Ascended Moderators and Supermoderators. Ascended Moderators are seasoned moderators who has been maintaining the forums for a while now. Supermoderators, on the other hand, are the so-called newbies of moderators. If the supermoderators have proven their worth, they might be promoted to Ascended Moderators.

The need for more moderators arises as the forum activities rise.

Q: What is a Site Staff?
A: Site Staffs are the ones responsible for providing feature articles, graphic arts, celebrity profiles, movie reviews and interviews in AmpedAsia’s webpage.

Q: What are User Groups?
A: User Groups are the categories of members depending on their forum activity. AmpedAsia’s user group are the following: Administrator, Ascended Moderator, Supermoderator, Site Staff, Downloaders, Registered, Banned

Q: How do I become a supermoderator?
A: Additional supermoderators will be advertised by the administrator as per needed. The chosen ones are chosen based on their posting habits and the quality of their posts. Wait for announcement(s) from the administrator for possible vacancies.

Q: How do I become a Site Staff?
A: The answer is the same with the supermoderators.

RULES AND POLICIES:
Q: Why does it say 'BANNED' under my name?
A: Members who violated the forum rules are banned based on the moderators' violation reports and administrator’s assessments on the reports.

Please read the forum rules before posting to avoid such a feat. To see the Ban List and other banning concerns, click here.

Q: How can I remove my banned status?
A: If you deem that your banned status is unjust and should be removed, you can post your sentiments here.

Q: What are Amped Points?
A: Amped Points are earned for posting, making threads, and adding polls. You will earn 2 points per reply as well as 4 points for every thread made. The catch is that only posts that are 40 characters long will earn points. So simply posting things like "WOW amazing" will not earn anything.

Also there are several forums that do not earn points. The anything forum, help forum, and requests forum will not earn points. This is because these forums are not really discussion forums, and it is easy to spam to get a lot of points in these forums.

User reviews will still earn 15+ points, but there are new rules for them which can be read at
New Rules for User Reviews. Please read Writing Reviews FAQ, too.

Amped Points Can Be Taken Away - This will occur in the case of spam/double posts. Any meaningless posts will result in point deductions. A penalty of a minimum 5 points will be taken away in the case of this. More point penalties will be assessed later.

Q. Why did my post end up getting deleted?
A. We will delete all inappropriate posts and threads when it is neccessary. This means you'll lose your amped points and your post count which are required to access our download and language sections. All one word posts and multiple posts of same words are included in this rule.

RE: AmpedAsia FAQ

4jpz, http://www.ampedasia.com/forums/new-rule...-5504.html > appears to be broken

Updated FAQ: I have just moved Hollinaz ruling to here from the Member Ban List due to reason it didn't follow the same relevant ruling on the ban list.
