Amped Asia Version 2.0

Hey guys,

Amped Asia has recently been updated to version 2.0. Bear with us as we still have a few issues that we need to work out. If you find any errors with version 2.0 please let us know.

So what do you guys get with version 2.0?

Faster loading
With version 2.0, we've made Amped Asia load roughly 40-50% faster than it did before. This is because of coding issues with our past version that we've fixed for this version.

Easier to Read
We've widened up the layout and made our text larger so you guys can have an easier time reading our stuff. The classic black on white text with blue links makes for a prettier version than our old grey on grey with greyish-blue links.

Easier to Navigate
We've made it so that it is now easier to navigate through our content by providing links in all the right places and making areas of our site less "busy."

More Content
With each profile/article we have provided more content, more navigation links, and overall made it more informative and easier to use.

Better Search Functions
We scrapped our old search bar to use Google search for ALL searching.

i love the faster loading! i can't believe how fast it loaded, i'd say at least 2 or 3X faster than the older one. i don't have to wait for the in-between page asking me to wait to be taken to my post or to the page that i clicked on. thanks Lance!!!

btw, can we have some of the 'keys' back? i.e. what does the new icons mean - like if it was a popular thread, it was pink, if i posted, there was a black star, etc... i don't know what the new little keys mean anymore... i'm guessing that little black dot means i've posted in that thread?

edit - oh, i see it on some of them. i guess you're getting to them. thanks!

Congratulations on reconfigureing AA to version 2.0 since I know it took a lot of hard work.(I also create my own my sites from scratch and unless you know certain scripts like C++ its not easy).Too bad Bing was not available during the original date this thread was posted since its somewhat(with the keyword being somewhat) better than Google

Layout is looking good. My system was down and bam...there AA was when I got back. All cool and all.
