Alex and Shin Ae, dubbed as the romantic couple of the variety show We Got Married, will be leaving the show for the second time around. The reasons for the departure are Alex's back problems and Shin Ae's filming schedule for the saeguk drama Empress Chun Chu, which will be shot outside Seoul.

AlShin, as fans called them, shot their last outdoor scene yesterday, October 29, at the Acoustical Society of Korea, Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu. The event was in a form of fan meeting wherein 60 fans from the Alshin fanclub attended.

Alex and Shin Ae prepared and decorated the venue personally with flowers, balloons, photos, and others. Shin Ae also prepared a gift pack composed of cosmetics, autographed photos, and Shin Ae's personally baked cookies.

During the fanmeeting, Alex sang for the fans, Shin Ae emotionally read out letters from them, and altogether chatted with them. Fans and the couple alike are noticeably sad during the event seeing that this will be part of their last episode in WGM.

The last studio segment will be shot on November 4, and will probably air sometime in mid-November.

Kudos to Alex and Shin Ae... with your romanticism, you make lots of romantics be romantics more and more, and skeptics to change colors

Personal note:
AlShin couple is my fave couple next to Anbi couple. Their departure saddens me and watching the future WGM without them will be nostalgic... I hope that they'll have a successful career outside WGM and still be back in the show for the 3rd time... if not, please AlShin, be a real couple! lol

With the departure of the 2 original couples, the WGM ratings will go down especially with the high ratings being enjoyed by Family Outing...

i can't believe they're leaving again!! i always looked forward to seeing new segments with them in it. they seemed soo much like a "real" couple than any of the other couples on the show. alshin were my favorite couple. although hwanhee is now on the show, it still won't be the same with out the relationship between alex and shin ae. hopefully when alex's recovers from his back pain and shin ae gets a break from filming, they can hopefully rejoin the cast of WGM.

Ah that's horrible! So sad that they're leaving.. I don't like that all the originals are leaving.. If Crown J and In Young leave my interest for this show wont be as high as it was and I don't think I'd even watch anymore if Hwang Bo and Hyun Joon left, even though they're not originals they're still my next favorites..

I keep my feet on solid ground
and use my wings when storms come around

Ahhhh! nooooo, they were my favorite couple besides Hwanhee and Hwayobi...its sad to see them gone

I will still support WGM even though most of the original couples will eventually leave.

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo my fav couple!!!!!!! it made me sad when they first departed! and chea even though i'm still on episode 11 LOL. i'm get excited to see their return again! but then with this second depart imma be probably more sad again!!!! aiyo!!!!!! all the original couples are leaving aiyo!!!! but chea i agree with krazoom if Couple Crown J InYoung and couple Hwang Bo and Hyun Joon leave...my interest for WGM probably will also go down....>.< but then like joanna i'll still support it. But chea i wish Shin Ae and Alex the best for their future and like i sed about Andy and Solbi couple. I think they should just get married and become a real couple =].

I can't believe this! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! How can the best, most romantic, natural and well-suited couple leave???

I'm really going off of WGM now and can't see myself watching the show any more! The PDs have made yet another BIG MISTAKE! It's like they do it on purpose to annoy the fans!

I don't want any of the original couples to leave but if anyone had to leave, it should be either the boring new couples or Ant couple. I like Ant couple but they're slowly starting to bore and annoy me as there's no real spark and chemistry between them other than their constant arguing, and SIY's laziness and temper tantrums. That's not what the show's about and we've seen it to death! Surely it's better for Ant couple to go rather than AlShin couple?

AlShin were my favourites and by far the most romantic and realistic couple. Each week we saw them getting closer and closer and it melted our hearts. They're the perfect couple and have entertained me the most. I just can't imagine WGM without them! I barely got over AnBi leaving, but now I won't be able to cope with AlShin leaving!

What will I do with my days without the dreamy, perfect Alex!!!??? I'm seriously heartbroken and fed up with the PDs. I don't think AlShin really wanted to leave. They could've filmed their bits at Shinae's new drama's location like they did for Hyunjoong when he was in Japan. Also, I know Alex wouldn't just leave the show because of a back ache. This is clearly another stupid idea of the WGM PDs that will definitely backfire!

The show's lost its spark and popularity and I don't think it will get it back. The new couples are highly disappointing, fake and boring, with no natural chemistry.

I just hope and pray they leave the door open for Alex and Shinae to come back as WGM is NOT the same without them!
