well, i think most people are afraid of dark

Me, not so much. Before, I cannot vouch for myself. The key here, as with any anxiety trigger, would be repeated exposure over a relatively compact amount of time. I've walked home in the dark, looked in the mirror in the dark, retrieved a glass of water in the dark.... thus the dark has become a familiar face to me.

yeah...me too, sometime im affraid of dark too..but i cannt sleep if itsnt dark ^^

Darkness itself is not what I fear. it's what i imagine exists in the darkness is what i'm afraid of. Even though I try to rationalize matters when in the dark and bush myself hard to calm down and think only of the positive side, it is almost inevitable to think of the bad things that could happen to me without me even seeing anything!
