A suit against the deceased Choi Jin Shil

Choi Jin Shil, who committed suicide 9 months ago, is in a messy lawsuit with the company who hired her to be a model. In March of 2004 she signed a 250 million won contract to model for Shinhan construction company. When pictures of her surfaced that showed her battered and her house in a mess from domestic abuse, her contract was broken because she now tainted the image of the company. She had to compensate the company twice what she earned.

Although the judge ruled in her favor, the case was sent to the Seoul High Court. In the meantime, she ended her own life. Afterwards, the Supreme Court reversed the ruling and ruled in favor of the construction company. The result is that Choi Jin Shil's kids now owe the money to the construction company.

This is a tragedy and a shame on the supreme court and the company.

OMG! Can the company just let it go! I mean, It's not her choice to be battered and experiencing domestic abuse during the contract!!! She already died harboring the emotional pain and maybe this lawsuit in her heart and now this! I mean, her children are still so young! The courts are definitely wrong in this! You can't be beautiful 100% of the day and forget the woes of your personal life just because you have a multi-million contract!!!

terrible news. The company is ridiculous, they need to just drop it. The supreme court made a stupid decision as well.

OMG! What is wrong with them?! The suit was ridiculous to begin with, but the court reversing the ruling is even more outrageous! Isn't anyone in their right mind anymore? I hope they get what's coming to them... I believe in Karma and I hope it comes back more than 10 folds. Don't mean to sound so hateful, but they all know what this woman went through and now they're bringing on to her kids.

That's too selfish of the company...AND the court!!! First they hurt the mother, after she dies, they go hunt down her kids and make them pay too?! this has nothing to do with her children, why do they need to get the children involved? Isn't it enough that she went through so much abuse and pain? Grr, And they wonder why suicide rates are high..... >.> They need to get a grip on whats life.
