Synopsis
Go Eun Sung lost everything when her father died. Her wicked stepmother made her and her brother leave the house while the stepmother took the insurance money to live in a luxurious new apartment. Suddenly, her autistic brother, Eun Woo, disappears. She meets a grandmother on the street, and due to Eun Sung's kindness towards the grandmother, she finds out that the grandmother is actually the CEO of a big restaurant chain and she is taken in by the kind grandmother. Her grandson on the other hand, absolutely hates Go EunSung.

Han Hyo Joo as Go Eun Sung
Han Hyo Joo plays the kind hearted, Go Eun Sung, who's life is ruined after her stepmother took away everything. She has a father who has died (actually a fake death, he faked it so that the stepmother could collect the insurance money), an autistic brother named Eun Woo, a cruel step-mother, and a step-sister Seung Mi. She is pure and innocent and her personality is what attracted a grandmother to take her in as family. She eventually begins to be a love interest for Sun Woo Hwan.
Lee Seung Ki as Sun Woo Hwan
Pop singer Lee Seung Ki has his first starring drama role. He plays the haughty heir to his grandmother's company. He and Seung Mi (step sister of Go Eun Sung) have a more than friends relationship although he eventually becomes a love interest to Go Eun Sung.
Bae Soo Bin as Park Jun Se
He is a caring man who falls for Go Eun Sung after finding out of her plight. He helps her to find her brother. He is also the one who tries to help her in any way possible, including buying her items that help relieve her financial stress like a bicycle and a cellphone. The younger sister of Sun Woo Hwan has a one-sided crush on him.
Moon Chae Won as Yoo Seung Mi
Although not a malevolent character, Seung Mi is on the wrong path due to her mother's behavior. She wants to help Go Eun Sung but she is torn between what is right and what her mother tells her to do. She loves Sun Woo Hwan but is unsure whether he reciprocates.

Friend who initially works as a nightclub waitress and helps Eun Sung when she was kicked out of the house by her step-mother. Her boyfriend is the one that initially loses Go Eun Woo, Eun Sung's autistic brother.
