Please design and submit original Christmas card cover art themed after AmpedAsia. Exceptionally good art, popular cards or original ideas will win amped point! There are over 500 amped points up for grab! Make sure you don't miss this opportunity!

Submitting Card: Dec. 09 to Dec. 28, 2007

Sorry Everyone, I won't be here during the 22nd and all through Christmas, so I've extended the deadline to the 28th. This should give you extra time to get done with your eCard or do some modification to it. Thanks for understanding!

How to participate in the competition

a. Create a Christmas greeting card, themed towards both AmpedAsia and Christmas.

b. There is no size limitation but prefer no bigger than 1024x768.

c. You may use any graphic or animation program of your desire to make your eCard.

d. The eCard MUST be created by you. Any plagiarism will result in ban from the competition. Images not related to AmpedAsia or Christmas, or graphics copied (ripped) from other sites, photos, etc. will not be voted on.

e. You are able to make more than one eCard but ONLY one entry can be submitted. Choose the one that you believe will help you win the grand prize.

f. Before submitting, please check if your card is qualified for the competition. Then submit your Christmas greeting card cover art to ME through PM or email (lilxjoanna@hotmail.com). I will check to see if your eCard art is qualified for the competition or not.

How to win the competition

a. Creativity, uniqueness, and your own work are qualified for winning.

b. At the end of the event, there will be a voting poll that everyone can vote on the eCards that been submitted and qualified for. No name will be included on the eCard to whom its belongs to avoid favoritism.

c. Afterward, we will have a preliminary round to choose the top 5.

d. We will then have a final voting on the top 5 eCards. The majority votes will win the grand prize!

Note: At the end of the competition, I'll be displaying everyone artwork that they've submitted for the competition for everyone to see. Even if you don't win any prizes, your hard work deserves to be appreciated on. (i.e. 2007 AmpedAsia Christmas eCards Wall of Fame)

2nd Place Winner wins 300 amped points!
3rd Place Winner wins 200 amped points!
4th Place Winner wins 100 amped points!

Yes, it can be in flash animation also...Hmm...seem like i got to mention that in contest also so there won't be any mix up. Thanks for reminding me, carmen

Seeing I am in charge of the competition. I'm not allowed to participate so I made my own eCard. I used the same concept of the contest but for a game I play, Conquer Online.

It's a cute competition but I still think if you want to prevent plagiarism you gotta make sure there is something in their creation that you specifically selected. Like maybe certain fonts or even a small pic that should be visible somewhere in the e-card.. If not then well I just hope you'll be able to sense when something is stolen..

I keep my feet on solid ground
and use my wings when storms come around

I'll do my best to prevent that from happening...much less if I assign everyone some pictures, fonts, etc for requirement. It wouldn't make the uniqueness in the competition. Don't worry, I got this all under control. You can start making your eCard before Rondillo comes and outruns you again...lol

I really don't want to submit an e-card because if ron enters his will surely beat mines but I'll try my best.. If I get frustrated I'm going to blame you.. lol hmm I think I have an idea for it though.. Be Back later tonight..

I was thinking seeing Ron is such an "expert" in designing stuff, I thought of having him excluded from the competition but it would be unfair to him. Ron will be a challenge to all but thats what make the competition a challenge!

Maybe Rondillo will be too busy doing his term paper, and won't be able to make an eCard.

We wouldn't want him to fail right *evil grin*
