Vivian Hsu Biography
Vivian is a musician, actress, and model popular mostly in Japan and Taiwan. In 1990, her career started after winning a beauty contest held by Taiwan CTS TV station. Her start in the entertainment industry was part of a girl group called "Girls Team." After releasing two albums, the group disbanded and Vivian entered the modeling industry.

She enjoyed large popularity as a model in both Taiwan and Japan. She reached her peak in 1996 when she was featured on the cover of the Asian Penthouse magazine. Vivian also posed for many companies such as Gucci, Hang 10, and ModeMarie.

She began a solo music career in 1995. Her first solo album, Angel Dreaming, was released in 1996. In the following years she would form two bands, Black Biscuits (disbanded in 1998) and The d.e.p. Vivian also collaborated with many artists during this time and released several solo albums. Being a lyricist, she also wrote the lyrics for several Jay Chou songs such as Adorable Woman 可愛女, Can't Say 開不了口, Istanbul 伊斯坦, Love's Cliff 愛情懸崖, Simple Love 簡單愛, Tornado 龍捲風.

Throughout her career, Vivian also dabbled in acting and voice-acting. Her movies include The Knot and Love Storm
