Biography

Sora Aoi, (aka Sola Aoi), is a Japanese Adult Video (JAV) star and a mainstream Japanese actress. She is also a Japanese recording artist. She gained fame for being a top award-winning pornstar known for her innocent looks and large G-cup breasts. she was scouted in her third year of high school and chose the name "sora Aoi" because it means "Blue Sky" which stands for her favorite color and what she likes in general (the sky). Originally scouted for gravure modeling, she debuted as a nude model in 2001 when she turned eighteen years old.

Sora Aoi shot to stardom as an adult video star shortly after her debut. She was known to have roles in "pink films" as well as hardcore Japanese adult videos. Afterwards, the director was criticized for using a Japanese AV actress in a teen movie. She has also entered the Korean mainstream with a TV appearance in a drama entitled Korean Classroom.

Sora was linked romantically to famous Japanese comic artist Jiro Hachimatsu, but it was reported that they split in January 2009.
