Started out as a model. She was born Born in Los Angeles, but when she was 22 months old, her family moved to Canada. Considers herself a Canadian native, but always a Korean first.
Speaks English and Korean in the family home, knows a little French (being raised and educated in Canada. (2004) Married a Korean real estate developer at the end of last year. Dated for about 3 years. In 1992, Grace graduated from Magee Secondary and went on to obtain a degree in psychology from the University of Victoria. After graduating from college, wanted to try acting for only a year, but ended up getting a teen show called '"Edgemont" (2000)' (qv) right away.
In just a few short years, Grace Park has managed to rack up an impressive list of credits, including the feature Romeo Must Die, the telefilm L.A. Law: The Movie and the popular CBC teen series Edgemont, in which she played Shannon Ng in the ensemble cast. She has appeared on such series as Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction, The Outer Limits, Dark Angel, The Immortal (in which she played the recurring role of Mikiko) and the SCI FI Original Series Stargate SG-1. She holds a degree in psychology and speaks English and Korean, along with some French and Cantonese; she is currently studying Spanish.
