Emi Takei is a Japanese actress and commercial model who has just started exploding onto the scene in Japan. Although she is primarily known as an actor in commercials in Japan, she is getting more experienced as a young actress.
Reportedly, she will play Kamiya Kaoru in an upcoming film adaptatation of the Japanese manga, Rurouni Kenshin, to be released in 2012.
Why We Like Her?
Can you believe Emi Takei is only 17 years old (as of 2011)? She looks so mature for her age, in a good way, though. Shes kind of like the Japanese version of Miley Cyrus except she probably has a lot more class (its expected since she IS Japanese).
Emi has already been in the spotlight for being a beautiful girl, but men everywhere will still have to wait until 2012 for her to be legal. She has topped Japanese celebrity lists for best eyes, best lips, and best smile.
Her credits list is quickly growing although shes only been in the biz since 2009. I think we can safely assume Emi Takei is going to become one of the great actresses in Japan.
