Crystal Kay Biography
Crystal Kay is the daughter of an African-American father and Korean mother, born and raised in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Her music is influenced by western R&B and hip hop. Her first album C.L.L CRYSTAL LOVER LIGHT was released March 23rd 2000 and though it wasn't very successful in the charts, the album gave Crystal Kay recognition in the industry which would soon boost future album sells.. Crystals next 6 albums had moderate success however it wouldn't be until her 7th album "All Yours" released June 27th 2007 that she'd take the number one spot on the Oricon charts for the first time. On August 6th 2008 Crystal released her 8th studio album "Color Change".
