AmpedAsia.com: So how did you first get into your profession?
Kaila: I started off working for Playboy and Sung Hi Lee

AmpedAsia.com: What do your parents think of your nude modeling?
Kaila: They are supportive of everything I do and I believe in living life for yourself not for your parents and they've learned to accept my point of view.

AmpedAsia.com: What are your proudest moments as a model? Your best achievements?
Kaila: Being chosen by Stuff Magazine as one of the 100 sexiest women online.

AmpedAsia.com: What's the most exciting part about being Kaila Yu?
Kaila: Getting to perform on stage is the most rewarding thing

AmpedAsia.com: We've read that you were shy in High School, how can a girl as pretty as you be shy? Wouldn't guys just be crazy about you?
Kaila: Looks has nothing to do with being shy or not, and I was nerdy and not cute in High School.

AmpedAsia.com: So we hear that you are a rising pop singer, what kind of music is it, and is it modeled after any other artists?
Kaila: I would compare it to Nelly Furtado and Kelis if I was forced to compare, but no way, I am my own artist with my own sound.

AmpedAsia.com: Are you currently looking to break into Hollywood films?
Kaila: Definitely, I just had a cameo in Fast and Furious 3.

AmpedAsia.com: so exactly where were you in fast and the furious 3 and how were you chosen to be in the movie?
Kaila: I started the races with aiko, and I had to audition for the part

AmpedAsia.com: Do you have any interest in moving in on the Asian film market, especially if good roles were offered?
Kaila: Sure, but I am definitely focused on the American market first.

AmpedAsia.com: Are you working right now? If so, what work are you doing?
Kaila: I'm currently recording my new album.

AmpedAsia.com: With your modeling work and your album, how much time do you get for yourself, your friends, etc?
Kaila: I have time on weekend nights to party.

AmpedAsia.com: Currently, are you single or in a relationship?
Kaila: I'm dating.

AmpedAsia.com: O ok, is this dating the steady type or the all-around dating? Casual dating so to speak?
Kaila: casual dating

AmpedAsia.com: What kind of men have you dated in the past? What are the qualities you look for?
Kaila: I like people who can make me laugh and people who are successful.

AmpedAsia.com: What about physically? What kind of physical attributes do you like in men?
Kaila: I like tall skinny guys
