Tokyo Flash’s Futuristic Timepieces That Look As If They’re From a Movie

This article was featured in the June 2014 issue of Amped Asia magazine.

The Japanese are always innovative with their designs, and watch designer Tokyo Flash is no exception. Their line of futuristic watches remind me of something straight out of a Sci-Fi film. All their designs are based on aviation, and the Kisai Blade is one of their most popular items. Compared to their other watches, the Kisai Blade is one of the more simplistic watches, but sometimes less is better. It’s one of my favorite watches from this line because it’s unique enough to be a conversation starter, but it’s not too crazy as if it were a movie prop.

Armed with a bevy of functions, the watch’s most interesting function is how it tells time. On glance you can’t tell that it’s a watch, but after pressing a button the time flashes as an LED display.
