Almost no one knows how to pronounce Saven’s name. Even Saven herself is a little confused about it. “People call me so many different things, I don’t even keep track anymore. They can call me whatever they want,” Saven says as we’re eating an early dinner at Luna Park in Los Angeles.

I learned earlier in our meal that the correct way to pronounce her name is “Suh-Vane” – the first syllable rhymes with “duh” and the last syllable rhymes with “pane.”
