These new Japanese school girl outfits have designs that are out of this world! Read on to find out more.
They say if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, but we are sure glad one company decided to take a tried and true classic and give it a breath of fresh air with these new designs.
In Japan and arguably all over the world there is much love and demand for the Japanese sailor school girl uniforms. Whether it is Sailor Moon inspired admiration or creepy old pervert fueled, there is no denying the impact this simple design has had on people.
So much so that there is a whole industry for sailor school girl uniforms otherwise known as nanchatte. Although it may sound more like a decadent coffee drink than some sort of fashion fetish, there are many companies vying to corner the market with their own interpretation of the classic look. One party costume company Clearstone, may have just made a case for taking over the market.
Their new range of “Neo Graphic Sailor Uniforms” have been available since March 2nd priced at 7990 yen (US$66) each and come in four different prints that include a top, neck ribbon, and skirt. The designs are “Cosmic Dust”, “Heavenly Flash”, “Glowing Jellyfish”and “Emerald Aqua.” No word yet if “Jailbait Muave” or “STRAIGHT TO JAIL FOR ANYONE PEEPING BLUE” will come out later in the line this year.
So next time you are looking for that new outfit to spice up the bedroom or creep out your mailman/mailwoman when they “accidentally” find out what they are delivering to you, you know have some pretty cool options. Enjoy!
