When I first met Shiona, I noticed that she had a lot of spunk in her personality. Needless to say we had a lot of fun doing our photoshoot. Enjoy our interview. AmpedAsia.com: What’s your ethnicity and where do you currently reside? Shiona Nguyen: I reside in Fort Worth. Funkytown.
AmpedAsia.com: How did you first start modeling? Shiona Nguyen: I started about a year ago. I’ve gotten more serious about it in the recent months. I think I started because it’s so glamorous, and who doesn’t want to take cute pictures right?
AmpedAsia.com: Is modeling something you want to do for a career or is it just a hobby? SN: I definitely don’t see it as a full-time career, but in a way I want to be more serious about it, but I don’t want to make it my whole life.
AmpedAsia.com: Tell us something about yourself that your mom doesn’t know. SN: Haha that’s a good one. I don’t know. That’s a good one, but I’m just not sneaky like that.
AmpedAsia.com: Do you have a day job aside from modeling? SN: I’m a skin-care specialist and work at a spa and I also do make-up.
AmpedAsia.com: What do you like to do for fun? SN: Can I say drink? haha! Okay fine, I like to read. I like to go out with my friends and dance.
AmpedAsia.com: Who’s your celebrity crush? SN: The Iron Man. Haha. Robert Downey Jr. And also that guy from Crank. What's his name again?
AmpedAsia.com: Jason Statham. SN: Oh yes. Jason Statham.
AmpedAsia.com: Currently are you single or taken? SN: I am single. Currently. Lol.
AmpedAsia.com: For our readers who might be interested, what’s the best way for a guy to approach you for a date? SN: The best way is to approach me with a lighthearted attitude. Carefree and sense of humor. I don’t like it when a guy is too serious.
AmpedAsia.com: What are your top 3 turn-ons and turn-offs for a guy? SN: Top turn ons are a man with a good relationship with God, someone with a good sense of humor, and someone with good hygiene.
Top turn offs are people who have hidden agendas, people who aren’t happy with themselves (low self-esteem), and people who have bad hygiene.
AmpedAsia.com: What is one of the craziest things you’ve ever done? SN: Can’t remember half of them. I tried to do a beer run by myself, haha.
AmpedAsia.com: Are you working on any interesting projects right now? SN: Yes but I have to keep hush on it. I can say that I am working on my own makeup line.
AmpedAsia.com: Tell us about a time you did something that was the most fun of your life. SN: Once I ran away to El Paso with my best friend and skipped the whole first week of freshman year.
AmpedAsia.com: Where’s the best place to find love? SN: DEFINITELY not in the club. I don't think you can pinpoint a certain place to find love i think love just finds you..
