Interview with our Asian babe of the day, the very pretty, very funny Australian model Shelly Tran. I recently got a chance to talk with Shelly Tran, who is our babe of the day! She's a very fun model from Australia. Check out her interview.

AmpedAsia.com: First of all, what's your background.
Shelly Tran: I'm 90% Vietnamese, the other 10 percent is pure awesomeness. But yeah. I was born in Australia.

AmpedAsia.com: When did you start modeling and why did you do it?
Shelly Tran: I started modelling maybe a year and a half ago? At the time it was because my friend approached me and was like 'lets do it.' I didn't really take it seriously at the time but over time I suppose I fell in love with the industry!

AmpedAsia.com: What do you like and dislike about the industry?
ST: I like the fact that I can have fun and get paid at the same time. Oh! And I like the fact that I get to meet smexy male models. Oh. And the competition. I love the competition!

It's hard to say what I dislike about the industry because I don't think I've come across anything I dislike just yet!

AmpedAsia.com: So you like the sexy male models, haha, have you ever dated one of them?
ST: They wish jelly fish! Those male models be going jelly at the knees for me! No I'm joking, I haven’t dated any male models... yet...

AmpedAsia.com: So is modeling your future career or just a hobby?
ST: At the moment, I'm trying to take it a day at a time see what 2012 drops on my lap! Cause yeah, in the beginning. I thought nothing of modelling. but yeah. Guess just see where this takes me. If not! I have pharmacy!

AmpedAsia.com: So you're in college then for pharmacy I assume?
ST: Yes sir! Legal drug dealer here I come! hahah!



AmpedAsia.com: What do you do for fun?
ST: I like to hang out with my friends, go to the clubs on the weekends. Oh! I love baking! haha! So I'll do that if I ever get a free chance. Cake is just. Hmm.

AmpedAsia.com: So do you have an australian accent?
ST: What's an Australian Accent! LOOL! I'm actually often told I have an American accent. See I don't hear either! haha!

AmpedAsia.com: Hahah. Nice. What's the biggest challenge you face as a model?
ST: Probably the pressure to have a tiny waistline and big boobs!

AmpedAsia.com: Currently, are you single or taken?
ST: Ohhh! Don't ask me that!! You won't like that answer!
  
AmpedAsia.com: So taken?
ST: Hahaa! Happily!! He’s my chickenface.

AmpedAsia.com: What kind of traits do you like in a guy?
ST: Big arms! He has to be able to wrap my up in his cuddles! He has has to... protect me. Look after me. Keep up with my drinking. And he definately has to be an intellect! There is nothing sexier than a guy that has a brain, cares and has a sexy body!

AmpedAsia.com: What are your biggest turn-offs?
ST: Egotistic people. Arrogance is such a turnoff for me. It's like hey, they world doesn't revolve around you! It revolves around me.

AmpedAsia.com: What do you think about Asian guys?
ST: It's getting hot in here! So take off all your clothes! Asian guys are the sex! hehe.

AmpedAsia.com: Who's your celebrity crush?
ST: Johnny Depp! or.... Tom Cruise when he was younger

AmpedAsia.com: Tell me about the craziest thing you've ever done?
ST: Craziest thing I've ever done.... Fool around at Authors Seat in melbourne. That was the absolutely wildest/craziest thing I've ever done

AmpedAsia.com: What's author's seat?
ST: It's this place in Melbourne where it's just an amazing view outlooking the city.
