Babe Interview: Josie Lee

Read our long interview with model/actress Josie Lee as she talks about dating, men, modeling, and other interesting bits about her life. Aspiring models might get some info out of this.
AmpedAsia.com: Where do you currently call home?
Josie:
Toronto, Canada.
AmpedAsia.com: If you could pick any place in the world, which city would you like to call home?
Josie:
Toronto. It's has so many different cultures, beautiful architecture, friendly urbane people. It's also cosmopolitan, hosts a famous Film Festival and is the
cleanest city I have ever seen.
AmpedAsia.com: What kind of jobs are you doing now or have recently done?
Josie:
I recently did catalog and advertisement work for a jewelery company: http://www.jjansendesigns.com/ A few of my photos you can find there.
Last week, I also just returned from the Philippines where I did televised fashion shows that air on FTV, as well as a cool 2008 calendar called Nautical
Angels. I'm wearing a couture wedding dress and veil. All the models wore long flowing dresses with stilettos and jewelry that are weighed down with lead
built into them so the accessories would not float back to the surface.
This weekend I am a celebrity guest appearing at a Halloween convention in New Jersey: http://chillertheatre.com/gt/gtc4.htm signing autographs along with
such guests as Baywatch's Brande Roderick, actor Val Kilmer (Batman, Tombstone, The Doors, Top gun), Traci Bingham, Angelica Bridges, Tiffany Taylor, Henry
Winkler (Happy Days, Arrested Development), Linda Blair, and many other TV and movie actors.

AmpedAsia.com: Saw that you recently did something with Playboy, do you frequently pose nude or was this a first-
experience?
Josie:
I was recently in the July 2007 issue of Playboy Magazine. I've modeled for them before, they are a great company. I have done nudes before. I'm am very
comfortable with nudes especially when they are shot by upper echelon photographers who have high end style teams. I haven't done any nudes this year except
Playboy Magazine, because my agency gets me fashion bookings that pay more than the glamour nude assignments.
AmpedAsia.com: You're the co-host for Carmen Electra's NWWL, tell us about it.
Josie:
Carmen Electra's NWWL is an acronym for Naked Women's Wrestling League. It's similar to the WWE but the sexy girls aren't wearing anything. Fighting in the
nude is not a new concept. The ancient Greeks competed in the Olympics in the nude. The heroic Gauls went into battle in the nude. I could go on and on. I
have had broadcasting training and my job with the NWWL is to report ringside and interview the fighters as well as several key people in the audience. I
accepted this job because I was scouted through a model portal. I think it was One Model Place. They were looking for an established model in either the
Toronto or Los Angeles areas, because they are based out of both cities. As for Carmen Electra, it's only a green screen as we pan to each other from
different cities for now. I am new to the company. But our first live event together is tentatively scheduled for mid-October in Mexico City. I would also
like to add that, along with the rest of the world, I think she is very beautiful.
