Asian Fashion: Evisu

Written by Ming on December 9, 2008
Amped Asia takes a look at Japanese brand, Evisu, one of the high-end vintage denim brands of the world.

Evisu is a Japanese brand of designer jeans known for its interesting designs and labor-intensive production. The initial jeans' designs were hand-painted by the founder of the company itself. Now the process of making Evisu jeans makes sure that each Jean has a different design than the last, meaning there will never be two Evisu jeans that look the same. Years of research were conducted to find the perfect way to make premium denim, and Evisu is the product of those years of research.

These jeans are on par with designer jeans such as Seven For All Mankind and Rock and Republics selling around the $150-$200 range. Besides their jeans they also sell T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, shoes, and accessories. This is the brand for you if you desire comfortable quality wear.

The jeans were a huge success in Japan because of the unique and flashy style of these jeans. Although Evisu is not as popular in Western countries as in Asia, there are still a good number of celebrities and regular people who wear this brand. In Japan and Korea, the brand is very popular for celebrities and fashion lovers.

Check them out at Evisu.com (English official site) or Evisu.jp (Japanese official site).
