What sites in 2008 are totally awesome? We break down 10 of our favorites.
Every year Amped Asia likes to write the top 10 Asian sites that we happen to like. They aren't necessarily the best sites, but they are just 10 that we like to read. We've also tried to make the list different from our list last year. Take a look at our 2007 list.
One inch punch is one of the more interesting Asian websites out there. There doesn't seem to be a prevailing theme to their posts except that they are all Asian-related, but there are quite a few cool stories on there.
This is a blog written by William who tells his story about how he got good with women. He does podcasts regularly and gives dating tips and advice to readers. We praised about how good they were before, and now they've made our list of 10 Awesome Asian sites.
Who doesn't like some weird news? With headlines like "World's Largest Ice Santa Built in China" and "Woman Addicted to Surgery Injects Oil Into Her Face" you're going to find a lot of interesting stuff on this site.
Streaming dramas and movies online? Sign me up! This site is great because they have such a vast library. Seems like they are getting bigger and bigger by the day.
We've gotten a lot more popular because Ningin spreads our articles. This site is THE site I usually visit for Asian news. It is an Asian version of popular social bookmarking site, Digg.com
DannyChoo is "Your portal to Japan." I absolutely love how this site is designed and the cool information he provides about Japan, one of my favorite Asian countries.
Now this is one funny blog. Disgrasian follows the lives of two Asian bloggers as they talk about various Asian-related issues. Asian people can definitely relate to these two amazing bloggers.
Drama Wiki
Where would I be without DramaWiki. This site is basically the IMDB of Asian movies and drama series. Any info you want about a drama, you will probably find on this site. It is an incredibly comprehensive and awesome site.
Soompi.com
Alright soompi is probably one of the coolest Korean-based forums out there. Seriously, EVERYONE is one Soompi. It's a wonderful community full of wonderful people shelling out wonderful content to the masses.
Coolsmurf
I like this site because he actually does a lot of subbing and puts a lot of stuff on Youtube. I also like to check in for news on Wonder Girls and other cute K-pop bands.
